Shipping, returns, warranty & privacy

Shipping & collection

• Nationwide courier delivery takes 1–3 business days.
• Delivery is free on orders over R5,000. Delivery in Gauteng is free for two or more concentrators.
• You can collect from our Midrand office (Mon–Fri, 9am–4pm).
• Export to Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Zambia: the buyer arranges shipping. VAT is zero-rated with proof of export.

Returns & refunds

• You may return unused items in their original packaging within 14 days.
• The buyer pays return shipping unless the item is defective.
• We refund within 5 business days after we have inspected the returned item.
• Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act are not affected.

Warranty

• 12 months, parts and labour, on all oxygen concentrators and CPAP machines.
• Other products carry the warranty stated on their product page.
• The warranty is void if the device has been tampered with or used outside its specifications.

Payment

• All prices on this website include VAT.
• We accept EFT, cash and card. Cash or EFT paid at our office gets a 2% discount.
• Prices and specifications may change without notice. Your quote confirms the final price.

Privacy notice (POPIA)

ICM Industries (Pty) Ltd, trading as OxygenC (“we”), respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

• Your name, company, phone number, email address and delivery address.
• What you ask us about, which can include health-related information, for example that you need oxygen therapy.
• Basic website usage data through Google Analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate location).

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry, prepare quotes, process orders and rentals, deliver products and handle warranty claims.
• To issue invoices and documents for medical aid claims.
• To meet legal duties, including tax and SAHPRA record-keeping.
• To understand how our website is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your information and we do not send you marketing unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

• Couriers, to deliver your order.
• FormSubmit, the service that emails our website enquiry form to us. It processes form submissions outside South Africa.
• Google (Analytics and Maps), which may process usage data outside South Africa.
• Authorities, such as SARS or SAHPRA, where the law requires it.

Where information is processed outside South Africa, we use providers that protect it to a standard comparable to POPIA.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to help you, and order and invoice records for as long as tax and medical device laws require.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email our information officer at icm@lantic.net or call 011 312 3393.

If you are not happy with how we handled your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator: inforegulator.org.za.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website still works without them.
